As the first and only Filipina vocalist to make the JazzWeek World (16 weeks, peaking at #2 ranking) and Traditional Jazz (#4) radio charts with the same album simultaneously. (Flippin’ Out; 2007), she is also the first and only jazz artist to be signed to Manila’s largest pop label, Viva Records, which inked her to a multi-year deal in 2009.
For five consecutive years, 2005-2009, Charmaine headlined the sold-out and critically acclaimed Filipino-American Jazz Festivals at the renowned Catalina Bar & Grill Jazz Club, in Hollywood, California.
Charmaine also appears regularly on international television, performing on ABS-CBN, the leading Filipino TV network. Charmaine’s music videos appear on Myx, the leading Asian-American music television channel.
Her YouTube videos have produced more than 110,000 views, and she is the founder of JazzPhil-USA, a nonprofit organization that promotes jazz artists of Filipino heritage.
