Mike Corrado wins opening slot for Bon Jovi

Supercool news for you: CD Baby artist Mike Corrado, singer/songwriter and US Marine, recently won a competition in Hawaii competing against over 50 other bands for a chance to open for Bon Jovi at their sold out show in the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu. His life has changed greatly in the past few years, with his deployment to Iraq, birth of his second daughter, several moves and transfers with the Marines and garnering national radio and television airplay for his song “On My Watch Tonight” from the 2005 CD “Falling Awake”. While you might have seen him on CNN, Rolling Stone Magazine or heard several of his songs in different major television series, this gig at the sold out arena is just the kind of thing that can help kick an artist’s career into overdrive. While definitely a good match for the Bon Jovi audience, his CD Baby page also says he’s recommended if you like Daughtry, Dave Matthews Band, or John Mayer. With those artists in mind, you should check out the Mike Corrado album “Start Saving Me” right here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/mikecorrado4We are extremely proud of Mike’s accomplishments and wish him more continued success with his career.
